When I read Maus, I thought about the time I visited the Holocaust Memorial in Washington D.C. I have visited this memorial twice. Maus is a great graphic novel as in it shows people that graphic novels don't have to be about good guys and bad guys, they can be about history. Maus uses graphics to tell the story of the holocaust, not just words.
